Three questions for Frédéric Beringuier, Bouches-du-Rhône Territorial Director of Enedis, one of the premium partners of the next edition of the Energy for Smart Mobility Forum, on October 6 & 7.
E4SM: What are Enedis’ priorities in the mobility market?
Frédéric Beringuier: In addition to our core business of connecting Electric Vehicle Charging Stations to the electricity distribution network, Enedis has identified 3 major challenges in the mobility market: 1/ participate in the acceleration of EVSC equipment in collective housing, 2/ support local authorities in the construction of their Electric Charging Stations Master Plans and 3/ ensure that highways are equipped with fast charging stations.
E4SM: What offers do you propose to local authorities?
Frédéric Beringuier: We play a central role in the construction of the Master Plans for Charging Infrastructures alongside local authorities: we help identify areas that are favorable for the installation of the stations that can be connected to the public distribution network, we co-construct territorial trajectories for the development of electric mobility and we analyze the impact of the networks.
In addition, we also participate in the development of electromobility in all its dimensions. For instance, we worked with the Région Sud to support the Port of Marseille-Fos in the electrification of its docks. This has significantly reduced air pollution, noise and CO2 emissions produced by ships in the port.
E4SM: What do you expect from the next E4SM Forum?
Frédéric Beringuier: The Enedis Group is proud to be a premium partner of the E4SM Forum, it is an opportunity each year to meet the electromobility ecosystem, in which Enedis wishes to occupy a central place. We are particularly interested in some of the topics discussed: collective housing, the digital transformation of infrastructures and services and of course the discovery of great ideas and innovations presented by the startups participating in the competition!
