Bruno Charrat has a degree of engineering and PhD in Microelectronics. He held various management positions in international companies (Philips, Microchip) before joining CEA in 2012. As head of CEA-Leti cybersecurity service, he was active in launching and heading collaborative efforts on cybersecurity with national and international partners, including IRT Nanoelec PULSE program, H2020 projects and bilateral collaborations. He is now head of CEA Cybersecurity Program and coordinates the work of more than 180 CEA engineers and scientists developing innovative approaches on security assessment tools and cybersecurity technologies and solutions. He is an active member of several national initiatives in cybersecurity including Cybersecurity Acceleration Strategy, Cybersecurity Task Force of new energy systems industries (CSF NSE) and Campus Cyber. He is deputy director of Grenoble Alpes Cybersecurity Institute and board member of “Alliance pour la Confiance Numérique” (ACN).
