Pandemic arouses solidarity in mobility companies

Several sustainable mobility companies are mobilizing to help in the current health crisis. This is the case, for example, of Cityscoot: the self-service electric scooter rental service offers to health workers the free use of its vehicles. In France, Cityscoot is established in Paris and in 15 neighboring municipalities and also in Nice.

Another example, the Marseille-based company Totem mobi, which offers self-service electric vehicle rental, has also announced that it will reserve long-term rental for health workers and make its electric vehicles available to them. Totem mobi is established in Marseille and Montpellier. The company was the winner of the start-up competition of the first Energy for Smart Mobility Forum in 2018.

In the USA, some EV manufacturers like Tesla now offered to convert their production to manufacture urgently needed medical equipment such as respirators.
