Engineer graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, Claire Baritaud held positions in industrial groups (Arkema, Air Liquide, Michelin, etc.) before joining the Prefecture of Pays de la Loire, then the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
In 2019, she joined the Ministry of Transport, where she heads the Innovation, Digital and Territories Mission at the General Directorate of Infrastructures, Transport and the Sea.
She is in charge of the preparation of the Agency for Innovation for Transport, whose creation was announced in 2021. This new Agency aims to coordinate actions to support innovation between administrative services, to participate in the identification and referencing of innovations, and to support their scaling up.
