Nancy Kabalt is Chair of the Holland E-mobility platform. In this role she represents a joint Dutch approach of public and private partners for stimulating, promoting and pursuing electric mobility.
The Formula E-Team (FET) is a public-private partnership of umbrella organizations, between the business community, knowledge institutions, NGO’s and the Dutch government.
The Formula E-Team’s goal is to further develop e-mobility in the Netherlands and to seize opportunities to promote green growth. The project includes promoting and connecting various initiatives and partnerships to achieve critical mass and speed. A great deal of effort will go into removing obstacles. The Formula E-Team is the place where stakeholders from the entire arena meet.
Nancy had been involved in the Dutch energy infrastructure since 1999, when she joined Nuon (now Vattenfall). She was part of the management team of the grid company. After the split of the production and DSO companies in the Netherlands, she joined the DSO company named Alliander and was part of the board of directors. In 2013 she became CEO of Stedin, also a dutch DSO. Besides these roles she was a founder of E-Laad, but also a initiator for startups like the new motion and allego. All related to transition from fossil driving to electric driving.
Currently Nancy has her own consultancy and interim management agency, where she and her colleagues are mainly advisors to energy companies, or energy related businesses. She also has several non executive roles for various companies.
Nancy holds an MA in Communication Sciences from the University of Amsterdam.
