Thomas Rabain is a Partner in the Corporate M&A team of the Paris office of Watson Farley & Williams. He focuses his practice on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, projects and contracts. He has a strong experience advising on matters relating to the energy sector and in particular renewable energy. In this respect, Thomas regularly assists and leads on the M&A and corporate aspects of the energy transactions of the Paris office.
Having over 17 years’ experience, Thomas advises investment funds, industrial companies, developers and grid operators on both domestic and cross-border disposals, acquisitions, joint ventures, development, project and financing transactions. He also assists his clients on innovative projects such as offshore wind (fixed and floating), hydrogen, corporate PPAs and electric mobility.
In addition, Thomas has also developed an expertise in drafting project agreements, in particular EPC and O&M agreements, in the context of projects, including interconnection projects.
