    Biography

    Engineer graduated from Ensimag and holder of a master’s degree from HEC in international finance, Valérie began her career with Neuflize, Schlumberger, Mallet (ABN AMRO Group) within the Asset management activity. It was by working on employee share ownership in the context of privatizations that she then moved into the primary equity market and investment banking. In 1998, she joined ABN AMRO Rothschild France, a specialist in primary equity market activities and became its co-head in 2006. In 2008, she joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in Paris, as head of primary market activity actions for France and four other European countries, and becomes a member of the executive committee. In 2013, she joined HSBC as Managing Director, and supports large corporate clients in their development in France and internationally and in their strategic thinking.

    Valérie is very involved in the subjects of Diversity and Inclusion and chaired for more than 5 years the network promoting gender diversity within HSBC in France. Since March 2021, she has been the co-president of the Financial Federation, which brings together 13 networks promoting gender diversity in the finance sector.

    Valérie is married and the mother of 3 boys.
