    The Tour de France goes electric with Enedis

    On the occasion of the Tour de France 2020, Enedis has set up a three electric cars caravan. Enedis manages 95% of the electricity distribution network in continental France. The company is a partner of both E4SM and the Tour.

    Two Renault Zoé and one Peugeot e-208, in the colours of Enedis, are roaming the 3470 kilometers route. They are daily recharged with the chargin stations installed by Enedis on the French territory.

    The French government wants 100 000 charging stations to be installed by the end of 2021. The project is directed by Enedis. Currently, 30 000 charging points are connected. The Tour de France began on August 29th in Nice and will end on September 20th in Paris.
